The challenge they want to solve

In France, the 5-year recidivism rate after a prison sentence is 63%. At the same time, there are more job offers in the digital sector than there are applicants (around 11 offers per applicant). That's why, in order to break this vicious circle of recidivism, CodePhenix intends to create a virtuous circle based on professional reintegration. Thanks to a 9-month programme (6 months of training and three months of application on real projects from their place of detention), CodePhenix can turn detainees into operational web developers.

The impact they have

By training detainees in such high-valued skills as programming, CodePhenix makes sure everybody has the right to a second chance.

The way we measure it

We measure the number of beneficiaries of training programmes and the number of certifications obtained.
