Enerdigit

Enerdigit provides flexibility solutions for the electricity network, thus facilitating the set up of new renewable energy production sites.

Positioned mainly on small and medium-sized industrial sites, Enerdigit makes it possible to add new demand-side management capacity to the electricity grid every year, while enabling industrial companies to offset additional costs associated with the rising cost of electricity by lowering their bills.

The challenge they want to solve

According to RTE (French electricity transmission system operator), the need for new demand response capacities in France is estimated to be between 12 and 25 GW to meet our objectives by 2050. Indeed, demand response is one of the key levers to decarbonise our energy production and manage our consumption. By helping industrial players monitor and therefore optimise their energy consumption, Enerdigit gives flexibility to the energy grid, facilitating the set up of new renewable energy production sites.

The impact they have

Enerdigit supports industrial players in their energy consumption by remunerating their load shedding during periods of peak consumption and facilitates the integration of renewable energies into the French energy mix through both its demand response and storage activities.

The way we measure it

We measure the additional installed capacity (from the network point of view) and the reliability rate of Enerdigit’s solution.
